Transana is a digital tool for transcribing, coding and analysing video and audio data. In Transana you can organise your data in libraries, produce transcriptions of your data, identify interesting segments of the data, assign keywords to clips or segments and thus create collections of interrelated clips. In addition, Transana allows you to share your research work with your colleagues and thus allows them to co-operate on a project.

The goal of using this program is to find new ways of working with data and to manage large collections of video and audio files and clips.

During this course, you will learn how to master the basic functions of Transana, which will allow you to create your own project, start working on a transcript, make collections, assign keywords and share your work.
