  • Software to edit video material – only for Mac. It supports most formats (video, audio and image) and has a very user-friendly interface.

  • Special search functions have been developed for the Danish Web Archive, Netarkivet.dk, offering free text search or search by URL.

  • Print to PDF is a function within Google Chrome that permits webpages to be saved as .pdf files. You do not have to install any software for this function.

  • HTTrack is for downloading websites, inluding subpages. The application can save a browsable copy of a website as it was at the time of download.

  • You may want to collect and preserve the hyperlinks from one or more webpages. We recommend using the Digital Methods’ tool Link Ripper.

  • LARM.fm is an online platform that gives access to a huge archive of Danish radio and television programme from the State Media Archive.

  • Mediestream is a digital archive for large collections of Danish newspapers, radio and TV programs as well as commercials.

  • SoundTap is an application for recording audio playing on the computer. It will capture whatever is playing on the computer’s sound card.

  • Stillio is a web-based service for web page screendumps. It is relevant for researchers who wish to monitor the ongoing development of web pages.

  • The TEI P5 Segmenter reads TEIP5-DK-CLARIN-ANNOTATION annotation layers for tokens and sentences and produces segment annotations.

  • Reads TEIP5 and produces token- and sentence annotations.

  • Tidsskrift.dk is The Royal Library’s portal for the publication of professional, scientific and cultural journals in digital full-text.

  • Transana provides the ability to transcribe for qualitative researchers wanting to analyze text data, still images and media-based data.

  • Twitter Archiver is an extension available for Google Spreadsheets. The application saves Twitter content to a Google spreadsheet.

  • Video DownloadHelper is a tool for capturing video streams, media galleries and images from websites. It can download video files in any available quality.

  • VideoboxPro is a tool for downloading video and audio files from websites. Video is stored in QuickTime format for Mac, iPod, iPhone or iTunes.

  • Webrecorder is an online service. It records websites as the users browses them and is ideal for capturing dynamic web content.
