Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon #DHH22

Save the date for the Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon #DHH22 to be held on May 11-20, 2022. As a CLARIN and DARIAH summer school, the #DHH22 will be an in-person event, truly international, welcoming applications from all over Europe and beyond. This year, the event will sponsor dozen or more participants from outside Finland with flights and accommodation (more information to follow). Participation to #DHH is free to all accepted participants.

The Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon is a chance to experience an interdisciplinary research project from start to finish within the span of 10 days. For researchers and students from computer science and data science, the hackathon gives the opportunity to test their abstract knowledge against complex real-life problems. For people from the humanities and social sciences, it shows what is possible to achieve with such collaboration.

Call for applications will open up in March

More information about the hackaton can be found here.
