ADHO Annual Conference Digital Humanities 2020: “Carrefours/Intersections”, July 20-25 2020, Ottawa

Join us for DH2020 in Ottawa. The city is situated on the border of Canada’s two most populous provinces, Ontario and Québec, on the traditional unceded land of the Kitchissippi Omàmiwininì Anishinabeg, or Algonquin Peoples of the Ottawa River.  The University of Ottawa and Carleton University are the joint hosts for the DH2020 conference.

Read more about the conference and the workshops at the official conference website.

Conference theme

The theme of the conference is “carrefours/intersections,” a place where paths cross. The theme recalls the geographical and cultural heritage of Ottawa, a bilingual city in unceded Algonquin territory. Three specific sub-disciplinary interests will guide our use of the theme: First Nations, Native American, and Indigenous Studiespublic digital humanities; and the open data movement.
