Europeana Research community survey: Reuse of Digital Cultural Heritage for Research: Understanding Researchers’ Needs

The survey is run by the Research Requirements Task Force, a task force set up within the framework of the Europeana Research Community. It aims to collect input on how to improve the delivery of digital cultural heritage to researchers, and how digital cultural heritage can be used for research — for example, through (new) tools for data management or processing, or specific training.

The survey is addressed to scholars working in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) fields and to researchers working at cultural heritage institutions. The task force is investigating their habits, problems, and demands when searching and reusing digital cultural heritage items or datasets. The survey’s results will help us to develop a set of recommendations for cultural heritage institutions and policymakers.

The survey is run by the Research Requirements Task Force, a task force set up within the framework of the Europeana Research Community. It is anonymous, includes 30 questions and should take about 15 minutes to complete.

The deadline is 31 October 2019.
