DARIAH Virtual Exchange Session: Listen back to the event

Last month, DARIAH organised a virtual exchange event on the Scholarly Primitives of Scholarly Meetings. This event leveraged seminal digital humanities work on research practices aiming to explore the gains and losses we experience when we shift academic meetings to virtual spaces. In a 2-hour session, 60 participants came together to reflect on the many functions scholarly meetings fulfill in our lives, including the respective potentials of the online and offline spaces at our disposal.

An exhibition space was launched ahead of the event with resources and ideas, curated by the DARIAH-EU team, aiming to act as a pool of prompts and provocations for thought and conversation in preparation of the virtual exchange event. The exhibition hosts a collection of research publications, practical resources, personal reflections and other miscellany exploring the many primitives of and issues surrounding scholarly meetings.
